Another way to save money to shop at liquidation stores. When stores go out of business their products are sold to these liquidation places for a great reduced price. Good for the consumer!
Another place to shop for electronics are locations that sell the refurbished items. These are items like toasters, printers, cameras that have been fixed by Kodak or Sony and need to be sold again at a discount because they were not perfect the first time. Sometimes these will sell items that will not sell at the "big store" as well. Or the year has past and the "big store" has new products to sell and so they sell the extras to the "little store". One of these stores is XCargo. We have bought a discounted camera from there and a printer.
We do not buy retail very often. The "big stores" are not taking my money to buy seats at the "professional hockey rink" in town.
