Bible Reading Day

Today is All Saint's Day according to the Catholic Calendar. But I would like to make a motion to call it Bible Reading Day. I would like to celebrate all the Heroes of the faith who died for translating, printing and reading the Word of God ->I would include learning about the Martyrs that were burnt at the stake for printing and reading their Bible
- including William Tyndale, in England - published the first English Bible in 1536
Martin Luther-in Germany in 1521-begand to to protest the ways of the Catholic church

Jan Huss-in the Czech Republic, died in 1415 for disagreeing with the State church
and those who died in the Spanish Inquisition for reading their Bible in the 1500's,
and those who died in the Gulag for reading their Bible, (between 1919-1989)
for those who have died in Chinese jails for reading their Bible,  for our brothers and sisters in the Middle East, and Africa today who are suffering for their faith.

This book is about a man's adventures in moving Bibles into a Atheist country. His group is still moving Bibles into places where it is illegal to have the Word of God.
