A few days ago I cooked up 2 cups of black beans, 2 cups of split peas, an onion and some carrots. I also added 2 chicken bouillon cubes and about 8 cups of water to this pot of nutrition.
After it was done cooking ( 8hrs later) I divided the mixture and froze 2/3 of it. To the remaining 1/3 I added a can of condensed mushroom soup and some soya sauce.
From there it went on to the top of my children's noodles and into their stomachs.
I also found out the easiest way to deal with ground chicken. I spooned it into the frying pan. It looked like cookie dough so I treated it like cookie dough. And it left less mess on my hands. I also added some oatmeal and spices to the bowl.
