Frugral

I like this word-frugal. It is a word that means thrift But it encompasses more then just economic choices. Frugal includes items such as shopping at thrift stores-first for the items needed, and checking out the used car lot first. It also includes home made gifts, home made meals, visiting with family and friends. A frugal lifestyle places people before things. 
MY grand father made that choice over 90 years ago. He had 9 kids only 5 survived. He built a house and a barn. His children had children too. Our family reunions have had over 100 people from several different counties including the United States, Germany and Canada because he chose to value relationships to people and not things.
